In this role, you will ensure that learning continues seamlessly in the absence of teaching staff, supporting students to stay on track and engaged. You will contribute to a culture of high expectations and mutual respect, while gaining valuable experience across different subject areas.

What will you do?
Coordinate and deliver effective cover for absent teachers, ensuring lessons are supervised with appropriate work, resources, and a clear focus on learning.
Promote a positive learning environment by supporting student engagement, maintaining high standards of behaviour, and reinforcing school expectations.
Implement school policies and procedures consistently, including those relating to Climate for Learning, registration, and health and safety.
Provide flexible support across the school when not covering lessons, including supervising students, assisting with interventions, and undertaking administrative tasks such as invigilation or reprographics.
Contribute to the wider life of the school by supporting duties, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement, and engaging in relevant training and development

What are we looking for?
- Educated to at least Level 2 (A*-C GCSE) – including in English and mathematics
- Good knowledge and skills in the use of ICT/Technology
- An ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- An ability to work creatively as an individual and as part of a team
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
