Avanti Brook is looking for a Reception Teacher who is committed to delivering meaningful and well-structured early years education within a values-driven setting.

This role offers the opportunity to shape high-quality learning experiences that support both progress and wellbeing from the very start of a child’s school journey. You will work closely with colleagues and families to ensure every pupil is supported, challenged and encouraged to succeed.

With a strong focus on inclusive practice and continuous improvement, you will contribute to a culture of high expectations and thoughtful teaching. Join us in creating a purposeful and supportive environment where children flourish.

School visits are welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school to arrange a suitable time.

Avanti Brook is a brand-new, state-of-the-art primary school in Bishop’s Stortford. Surrounded by fields and new housing estates, the school is a centre for the new community developing in the north of Bishop’s Stortford. It’s the first carbon neutral school in Hertfordshire.“I feel like words don’t do this school justice, because as soon as you walk into the school, as soon as you open the door, the only word that comes to mind is ‘wow’!” Sarah Samuels, Early Years Lead.

Avanti Brook is a non-faith, community school that embraces inclusion and diversity. “I joined Avanti, because it’s such a new school, that it will be shaped and grow with its children, pupils and staff, and that opportunity really excites me” - Class Teacher

Our staff are inspired and passionate about their roles, the vision of the school, and providing the most fulfilling learning experience for pupils. Learning is a quest to discover each student’s unique gifts and potential, and to lay the foundation for their lifelong journey of learning.
